The last trip to the farmers market at Vero Beach, then paid up and loaded the dinghy on Barbara's Joy II. Left on Sunday.
Started north to Harbor Town Marina, Barge Canal.
Monday morning we woke up to rain, wind and lighting. We stayed another day. May leave on Tuesday, weather permitting.

Feb 16 - March 20
Well I must apologize for the lack luster up dating of this blog. Actually, there isn't much to write home about. The weather has been GREAT, good socializing and generally all things are good.
We ended our stay at Stuart on March 11 and have been at Vero Beach since then on a mooring ball.
Our plan is to move on Sunday March 27.
Will try to keep up this blog.

We are in Sunset Bay Marina, Stuart, FL.
We have been busy socializing, shopping and more socializing.Finding several people we met in the past years.
The county bus can get you north or south. You can get to Sam's, Walmart, Sears, Home Depot, Lowes etc. We have been walking and riding bikes. Three or four miles each way isn't too long, anymore.
Last night, Friday, the local marine broker treated everyone to a pig roast with beer, wine and live music. It was great!
Today, Saturday, we are going to a seafood festival. Many cruisers are leaving this weekend to stage for the crossing to Bahamas.
Will try to update blog more often.

Jan 17 - 18
Setteled in to dock life and got the bus sehdules.
Went to Lola's for fish tacos. The BEST anywhere !!!
Tuesday is BYOB and a snack to share. Met more people old and new.
Not happy with the hi pressure pump which was rebuilt afew months ago, so, I removed it and sent it back to rebuild it again. Since we will be at Stuart for several weeks, it should be a good time to fix it.
Still doing small projects around the boat. Good hardware store within walking distance and on the way is good ICE CREAM stores.
Wednesday was the first time we need AC in the winter for the past 3 years, about 84degrees, but we will take it.

Left Vero for Sunset Bay Marina in Stuart. Nice ride.
We were pleasantly surprised that our dock was "A" Dock. Quieter and more comfortable that any other in the marina. Only about 300 feet to the club house. That is close at this marina. Last year we would walk about 1/4 mile to get to the club house. This marina has the best Captain's lounge. We could watch football on a wide screen. Should be great for the playoffs and Superbowl Sunday.
Had a get together on Sunday night and found many of the people had come back from last year.
